Early Response Team (ERT) Training Class
The Rocky Mountain Conference is undergoing an effort to restart the ERT program and will help teams have mission opportunities to serve on local and UMVIM mission trips throughout the year while being ready to response to disaster situations when needed. ERT teams in each geographic area will be active in various volunteer and training activities even if they are not called right away to a disaster.
You are invited to participate in the UMCOR and UMVIM-sponsored Early Response Team (ERT) training program. Trained ERT team members serve as a caring presence to disaster survivors. They also help communities during the relief phase of a disaster, performing jobs such as debris removal and clean-out of flooded homes.
These training classes will focus on establishing working teams based in the geographic areas of the training. The classes are open to both new ERT members and those who need re-certification. Upon completion, badges will be issued to graduates.
The following training classes are being offered.
