2/25/2017 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Rev. Steve Garnaas-Holmes - pastor, poet, retreat leader, musician and all around great guy with a creative spirit - will lead us into the Lenten season with a creative approach to entering and experiencing the Book of Psalms, a book in the Bible that contains songs of praise and prayers of lament, hymns of celebrating God's steadfast love and prayers for vindication against enemies. We will experience with the psalmists the ups and downs of their genuine spiritual journeys as well as our own journey. In the afternoon, we will work with poetry and creating our own psalms in a writing workshop.
Register online, at the church office or in Trinity Café on Sunday mornings starting February 5. Registration is $20 per person, which includes refreshments and lunch. Childcare will be available by advance reservation through Rev. Marshall. Scholarships are available - contact Rev. Linda Marshall for information at 303-839-1493 x15.
