Rawlins Cooperative Parish
Acknowledging that this holiday season may not be joy-filled and exciting for some is so important. Some may be dealing with the death of a loved one, or facing life after divorce or separation; others may be coping with the loss of a job, or a disease that puts a question mark over the future. It is important that sacred space be provided for people as they move through difficult or dark times, and Rawlins Cooperative Parish will host a “Longest Night Service of Healing, Hope and Support” on December 21, 2016, at 7 p.m. for the Rawlins community. The service will include calming music, readings, opportunity for prayer, and an opportunity for the lighting of candles representative of grief, courage, memories and/or love. All are welcome to join in this time of remembrance.
