Youth Quest 2016 – Lost and Found
It’s time to start registering for Youth Quest, the annual junior high youth event sponsored by Young People’s Ministries and the Conference Council on Youth Ministries of the Rocky Mountain Conference. The event will take place April 15-17 at Frontier Ranch in Buena Vista, Colorado and it will provide space for 6th
grade youth across the RMC to engage in fellowship and faith formation.
Throughout the weekend, youth will participate in workshops, conversations, and keynote sessions that focus on the theme of Lost and Found
. They will take a look at the historic quest for Jesus in the Bible while simultaneously learning to find Christ in their neighbors, their communities, and themselves. For a full list of workshops and the individuals who will be facilitating them, click here!
The keynote speaker for the weekend is Rev. Jerry Herhips, the founder and “Lead Spiritual Entrepreneur” of the AfterHours Denver faith community. As such, Rev. Jerry serves in ministry with the poor and spiritually independent population of downtown Denver while also giving out food, water, and communion to 700+ people a week in Civic Center Park.
