Winter Camp for Friends & Families at John Wesley Ranch - Feb. 13 to 16
Come enjoy the beauty of winter and time away with friends and family at the Rocky Mountain Conference Annual Winter Camp. It's a weekend set aside for singles, friends, and families of all sizes and ages to be together in Christian fellowship in a relaxed setting. We’ll explore matters of faith through the 2014 Mission U spiritual life study, How Is It With Your Soul? There will also be lots of free time for tubing and other winter activities – plus time to cozy up inside around the fire with family and new friends.
Winter Camp will be held once again at John Wesley Ranch Retreat Center (21285 St. Highway 67, Divide, Colo., 80814) in their beautiful, rustic lodge, with room to spread out for inside games and activities as well as enjoy the beauty of a winter’s day from their large deck overlooking a snow-covered meadow (depending on weather). Three tubing hills are available for children ages 2 to 90! Tubes and sleds and an assortment of snow shoes are available for outdoor fun. Hiking is another option on the plowed roads of the camp.
Our study, How Is It With Your Soul?, will work to balance the inner and outer dimensions of the Christian life. Organized around four verbs – pray, learn, mentor, and transform. Our time together will challenge you to become a more vibrant disciple of Christ. There will be separate breakout sessions for adults, children, and youth.
Cost for the retreat is:
- Adult: $70
- Child: Grades 6-12: $50; Grades K-5: $40; Pre-K and under: $25
- Family maximum: $200
