Office Administrator/Book-keeper - Wesley Foundation at the University of Colorado at Boulder

The Office Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Wesley Foundation’s office. This includes reception, scheduling use of the building, financial accounting, and clerical tasks. The Foundation provides intentional Christian spiritual growth and leadership development of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We do so through a Wesleyan and United Methodist approach to the faith. We also minister to students from other area institutions as well as to other young adults (ages 18-32) who live in the greater Boulder area. We are a mission outpost and an extension ministry of the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church. We seek to provide a safe space and environment for young adults to stretch and grow, and we are open to the participation of all of God's children - including persons of all denominational backgrounds, races, sexes, genders, and sexual orientations. We are a Reconciling ministry within the UMC.

Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday - 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Job requirements include management and organizational skills, computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Quick Books), pleasant and effective telephone skills, accounting and bookkeeping skills, able to work with and supervise volunteers, able to work with and supervise other employees, and flexible with multi-tasking. The position will be responsible for coordinating and participating in the planning and implementing of all programs for the children and youth. Applicants must demonstrate a deep personal faith and should have experience in working with children and/or youth in ministry or educational settings along with a BS or BA degree in a related field being preferred.
