2015 Appointments by Bishop Elaine Stanovsky

Bishop Elaine Stanovsky has announced her intention to make the following appointments, effective July 1, 2015:

Thomas R. Towns, currently serving First United Methodist Church, Cortez, Colorado, to Estes Park United Methodist Church, Estes Park, Colorado.

Richard F. Carpenter, currently serving First United Methodist Church, Dove Creek, Colorado, and Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, Dolores, Colorado, to Fort Morgan United Methodist Church, Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Jasper Peters as associate pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, Denver, Colorado. Jasper will be appointed as a Provisional Elder pending the Clergy Session action at the 2015 Annual Conference.

Michael Jarrell as associate pastor of Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church, Monument, Colorado. Michael will be appointed as a Provisional Elder pending the Clergy Session action at the 2015 Annual Conference.

Paul Kottke, currently senior pastor at University Park United Methodist Church, Denver, Colorado, as Superintendent, Metropolitan District. Read about Kottke's thoughts and vision for the appointment.

Calob Rundell, currently serving Wiley/McClave United Methodist Churches, to First United Methodist Church in Salida, Colorado.

Steve Easterday-McPadden, currently senior pastor of First United Methodist Church, Fort Collins, Colorado, as senior pastor of First United Methodist Church, Grand Junction, Colorado. Rev. Blaine M. Scott, current senior pastor, is exploring extension ministry.

Steven K. Goodier, currently serving as District Superintendent, Metropolitan District, Rocky Mountain Conference, to First United Methodist Church, Loveland, Colorado.

 

Bishop Elaine Stanovsky has announced her intention to make the following appointment, effective April 1, 2015:

Charles Stephens, currently serving 1/2 time in Extension Ministry at the Institute for Life and Care to 1/4 time Extension Ministry, Institute for Life and Care and 1/2 time to First United Methodist Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

Bishop Elaine Stanovsky has announced her intention to make the following appointments, effective Jan. 1, 2015:

Bich Thy (Betty) Nguyen, currently serving Bethany United Methodist Church, to Brentwood and Bethany United Methodist churches (3/4 time).

Leslie Sue Wood, currently serving Pikes Peak United Methodist Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado, to the United Church of San Juans, Ridgway, Colorado.

Deanne Sharp as pastor (1/2 time) of Pikes Peak United Methodist Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Andy Dunning, currently serving as Development Director at Denver Urban Ministries, to St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Highlands Ranch, Colorado, as executive pastor.


2015 Retirement Announcements

Assignments by District Superintendents

District Superintendent Margaret Gillikin has announced her intention to make the following appointments, effective Nov. 15, 2014: Mike Spahr, as certified lay minister (1/2 time) to the United Church of Walsenburg, Walsenburg, Colorado. Bobby Barnhill concluded his ministry at the United Church of Walsenburg on Nov. 11, 2014, but continues as a part-time local pastor at Trinidad United Methodist Church, Trinidad, Colorado.
