First United Methodist Church in Pueblo, Colorado, is hosting an Ethical Education Task Force workshop on Saturday, Oct. 22. Check in time is 8:30 a.m. and the workshop is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will have lunch while we work with the cost of $10 per person. There is no registration fee. (See agenda below)

The new curriculum utilizes DVD segments, case studies, dialogues, and role playing to encourage participants to interact with each other over ethical issues and dilemmas rater than using detailed, specific date and lecture-style presentations. Clergy (required training each quadrennium) and lay persons working in sacred trust are urged to attend.

Participants must download and print material for the workshop/discussion. It is ESSENTIAL that you have these documents with you for the workshop; in contrast to the approach last quadrennium there will be NO pre-printed binders of material provided for you. The documents needed are: Power and Appropriate Behavior, Safe Sanctuaries, Social Media, and Church Technology and other details about the Ethical Education Task Force (EETF) are on the Rocky Mountain Conference website. In paragraph 2 there are highlighted document that you should download/print and bring with you. We look forward to this time together! For questions or to register for this workshop, please email Mike Spahr. Please RSVP with Alice Muniz at trinitydistrict@qwestoffice.net or call 719-546-1523.
