A Young People’s event at Denver University gave students an opportunity
to:
- Develop skills to communicate, advocate & provide direct assistance
to those in need;
- Meet and exchange ideas with malaria experts and fellow humanitarians;
- Learn how to start saving lives in Africa right from their Denver
dorm room; and
- Learn more from health experts about such topics as malaria prevention,
the public health impact of this and other global health diseases,
epidemiology, and more
It was an interactive workshop to learn how you can
use your communications and advocacy skills to prevent malaria and
save lives in
Africa and was held March 28 at the University of Denver,
Graduate School of International Studies.
Take a moment to let your folks in your local church know that Nothing but
Nets is making a difference around the world.
