Inmates Read To Their Kids - II

Denver Women's Correctional Facility , located at Smith Road and Havana in Denver, seeks help from RMC churches with another "Inmates Read to Their Kids" project. The facility's Parent Educator asks for donations of children's books (new or used), cassette tapes, packing materials and postage. Mothers read to their children on tape, then send both tape and book to their children to read along. Both mothers and children, many of whom have little or no contact during the mothers' incarceration, cherish this means of staying connected.
