The people of the Rocky Mountain Conference are sending thousands of malaria nets to Angola. Through the Nothing But Nets program, $10 will save the life of a child. In addition, the people of The United Methodist Church and their partners worldwide helped Cote d’Ivoire’s National Program in the Fight against Malaria launch an integrated health campaign November 11 that will vaccinate 3.5 million children in Côte d’Ivoire (formerly Ivory Coast) and blanket the country with bed nets to stop the spread of malaria. Other Resources

Two United Methodists churches in RMC have new Covenants with United Methodist Missionaries. They are:

  • Olney Springs Community UMC in Sunshine District who has a Covenant with Rev. Jennifer Battiest, serving in the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference.
  • First UMC- Limon, in Peaks and Plains District, who is now supporting Imelda Ramos serving in Douglas Alaska.

We celebrate these new Covenants with Joy and Appreciation!
