Church Tithe
At its 2007 session, the Rocky Mountain Conference adopted a
"Church Tithe" method of sharing resources for the good
of the world and the Conference.

The Message
Thank you for your continued support of the mission and ministry
of the Rocky Mountain Conference and the United Methodist Church as a
whole! Your
prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness help us all share God’s
love within and outside of our Church. When we all share what we have, together
we can do much more.
Your Money At Work In The General United Methodist Church
Thank you for supporting the World Service Fund, our primary outreach
throughout the world!
- Just under 15 cents of every local church dollar tithed to RMC
supports this General Church Fund.
- Our generous giving enables Christian mission and ministry
around the world through age-level programs, camps and retreats,
Christian education, colleges and universities, media, global mission,
ecumenical cooperation,
leadership training, peace and justice, stewardship, worship
and much more.
- World Service becomes our voice, expressing our commitment
to build a church and a people dedicated to making disciples
for Jesus Christ for
the transformation of the world.
July Tithing income, based on June receipts in local churches, totaled
$411,464. This is an increase over previous months and helped all
of us meet our cash flow obligations during what can be difficult summer
months.

on the Conference web site (Resources->Finances). The graph reflects
Conference-wide church giving comparisons to last year 2007.

complete the form! Here is the form for use in
remitting the tithe.
Note: If your computer has an Excel-compatible spreadsheet installed, the
best way to work with this form is to save it to your computer (Desktop
is a good place). Then open the form on your computer and complete it with
the figures for the month for which you are reporting. Save the form, print
it out, and send it with your check.
