Third Report of Church Tithe
Greetings from the Conference Treasurer’s Office. Here is an update
of your efforts at the local level in administering the Tithing program. Along
with this narrative, you will find the detailed
Tithing report, by church,
along with a graph depicting our conference revenue position.
The March 2008 Tithe reported in April reflects a total giving of
$466,333 for the month. On a year-to-date basis, total Tithe
giving amounts to $1,135, 423. This puts us behind in our ability
to meet World Service and General Board obligations.
The
percentage of giving units participating in the Tithing program
continues to reflect an improvement over prior years, as shown in the
following District summary:

Based on input received from many of you, we are presenting an
abbreviated report which shows just current year giving—without
comparing to last year giving. Your comments are always welcome and if
