The 2005 Winter Retreat
will focus on Small Group Ministries. Through teaching,
discussion, reflection and small group sharing we will explore
ministry through use of small group models. Retreat leaders are
- Bill Katzenmeyer, Lay Staff Member who coordinates small groups at Broomfield UMC
- Rev. Marla Kauerz, Associate at Hope UMC, Centennial, CO
- Rev. Keith Watson, Pastor of Wilson UMC, Colorado Springs
- Rev. Skip Strickland, Sr. Pastor, and Kathy Cackowsky, Lay Staff Member, both of Mountain View UMC, Boulder

The Details
The Winter seminar is a two-day event and will begin
Monday, February 7 at 9:30 a.m. and end Tuesday, February 8
at 12:00 noon at the Franciscan Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We will be meeting and sleeping in the main building called Francis Place.
Your registration fee is dependent on your choice of room (single or double occupancy)
and includes meals, lodging and mileage to and from the Franciscan Center in Colorado Springs.
The Board of Ordained Ministry is paying the balance of the
costs needed to provide this quality program.
